Jr IT Support Technician

About the role

The Junior IT Support Technician will provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to staff and guests of Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club, ensuring computer equipment and systems run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain user accounts, rights, security groups, and system access.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computers, hardware, peripherals, and related equipment.
• Upgrade or replace hardware and software as needed.
• Log daily and hourly activities and keep maintenance work orders up to date.
• Provide remote assistance for members, guests, and internal staff.
• Serve as the first point of contact for ticket submissions, prioritize first‑call resolution, and escalate tickets when required.
• Communicate effectively with users, IT team members, and the IT Manager.

Required profile

• Associate degree or professional technical training preferred.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification or 4 years of similar experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft operating systems.
• Certifications in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco are a plus.
• Prior experience in tech support or desktop support.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lb.
