Maintenance Technician – Hotel Facilities

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing maintenance services across all departments of the hotel and residences. You will work independently to complete work orders, respond to guest calls, and ensure the property meets Goldwynn’s operating standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs throughout the property, including guest rooms, public areas, and residence units.
• Handle carpentry tasks using drills, chisels, sanders, saws, nail guns, and operate woodworking machines.
• Repair and replace furniture, wall coverings, ceiling panels, gypsum board, masonry, and perform minor plumbing and electrical troubleshooting.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hotel TV and access control systems.
• Install decals, fixtures, door hardware, and perform minor wallpaper repairs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
• Minimum two years of similar maintenance experience.
• Ability to multi‑task, manage time well, and present a professional appearance.
• Team player with a can‑do attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Basic plumbing skills.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with carpentry tools and woodworking machines.
• Knowledge of TV and access control device systems.
