Retail & Inventory Associate – Customer Service & Social Media

About the role

Aquatech Pools & Spas is looking for a reliable, organized Retail & Inventory Associate to run the store counter, keep precise inventory records, handle chemical billing for the maintenance team, and promote the store through social media. The role blends customer service, inventory control, and digital marketing in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with pool chemicals, equipment, parts and accessories, providing knowledgeable recommendations and processing sales, invoices and payments.
• Receive and verify incoming inventory, maintain accurate stock records, conduct regular counts, and trigger re‑orders when levels are low.
• Record chemical usage by technicians, generate customer billing based on documented usage, and reconcile inventory against usage reports.
• Maintain the store’s Instagram and Facebook pages, create engaging posts, take photos and videos with a smartphone, and respond to customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with management on promotions, campaigns and special offers, and help identify social‑media opportunities to boost sales.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail, inventory, billing or customer service.
• Strong organizational, numerical and detail‑oriented abilities.
• Comfortable working independently, trustworthy and dependable.
• Willingness to learn about pool chemicals, equipment and related products.

Required skills

• POS and inventory/accounting systems.
• Microsoft Excel (basic).
• QuickBooks or similar accounting software (advantage).
• Instagram, Facebook and basic Canva or similar content‑creation tools.
• Smartphone photography and video capture.
