Sales Associate – Fashion Retail

About the role

Melissa Sears Fashions is looking for a dynamic Sales Associate to join its boutique in Nassau. You will be the front‑line ambassador of the brand, helping Bahamian women discover style that boosts confidence while delivering an exceptional shopping experience both in‑store and online.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers in the store and via digital channels, offering personalized styling advice and product knowledge.
• Utilise social media, email and the e‑commerce platform to conduct virtual styling sessions and respond to online inquiries.
• Drive sales through attentive service and maintain attractive visual merchandising and well‑stocked displays.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process orders, manage inventory and keep the store tidy.
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and share ideas for improving performance.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a genuine passion for fashion.
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast‑paced retail environment, including weekends and holidays.
• Proactive attitude, willing to take initiative and support various store tasks.
• Potential for growth and leadership within the company.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer skills.
• Digital literacy, including use of social media platforms and e‑commerce tools.
