Senior Audit – Wealth & Asset Management (Bahamas)

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Audit professional to join its Financial Services Office (FSO) Wealth & Asset Management team covering the Bahamas and surrounding Caribbean jurisdictions. You will work with multidisciplinary global teams to deliver high‑quality assurance services to asset managers, private equity firms, banks, and insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of audit engagements, ensuring accurate financial statement reporting.
• Perform complex, industry‑specific audit procedures and develop client‑focused audit strategies.
• Coach and supervise audit staff, providing tools, guidance, and development opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to tailor assurance services and support business development.
• Identify potential risks, propose improvements to audit processes, and stay updated on emerging business trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in audit of wealth and asset management or related financial services.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a client‑service mindset.
• Ability to communicate complex audit findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
