Architecture Project Manager - Millwork

About the role

Advice is hiring an Architecture Project Manager for Performance Millwork and Finishes Ltd., a high-end millwork company based in Nassau, Bahamas. The role manages projects from design approval through fabrication and installation, keeping them aligned with client expectations, deadlines and budgets. It is a full-time position based in the Bahamas.

Key responsibilities

• Manage custom millwork and architectural projects from design approval through fabrication and installation.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, general contractors and internal teams.
• Interpret architectural drawings and specifications for project execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; perform take-offs and prepare budgets.
• Monitor production and installation to ensure quality and adherence to plans.
• Lead project meetings and give regular updates to stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders and closeout documents.
• Identify potential risks or delays and develop mitigation strategies.
• Work on-site during installations and support multiple ongoing projects.
• Produce or revise shop drawings as needed and support administrative project management tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in project management within architecture, construction, millwork or related fields.
• Willingness to learn millwork processes and build technical knowledge in the field.
• Strong hands-on attitude, comfortable working on site and with production and installation.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and professional Spanish.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage several projects at once.
• A background in architectural studies is an asset; carpentry or millwork fabrication knowledge is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in project management software and tools such as MS Project or AutoCAD.
• Reading and interpreting architectural and shop drawings.
