Food and Beverage Manager - Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

About the role

Carnival Corporation & plc is looking for a Food and Beverage Manager for its destination Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas. The manager oversees all kitchen operations, manages staff, cooks and inventory, ensures high-quality food preparation and presentation, maintains compliance with safety and health standards and delivers a seamless dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including timely and high-quality meal preparation, consistent food presentation and inventory levels, and ensure equipment and facilities are maintained
• Recruit, train and supervise kitchen staff, create and manage schedules, and conduct performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and health regulations through routine inspections and corrective actions
• Collaborate with other departments on guest satisfaction, resolve guest concerns about food and beverage services, and help with budgeting, cost control and reporting financial performance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred), or equivalent work experience; additional hospitality education is a plus
• At least five years' experience in food and beverage management or kitchen operations
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and extended hours, and possibly a rotating shift schedule at the destination
• Physically fit, able to work outdoors and stand for long periods
