Security Guard - Hotel

About the role

The Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort in the Bahamas, is looking for a Security Guard. The role protects guests, employees and property by enforcing rules and regulations, deterring crime and handling emerging issues. The position is based at the resort property and is open to candidates who can legally work in the Bahamas without sponsorship.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol and inspect the property to protect against theft, fire, vandalism, terrorism and other illegal activity.
• Post at stationary positions to provide access control.
• Post at checkpoints to check employee bags and monitor swipes on the time clock.
• Control access of independent contractors and vendors by checking their ID before entry.
• Control vehicle access and inspect vehicles leaving the property.
• Monitor public areas and guest floors to identify and remove undesirable persons and trespassers.
• Escort employees and patrons, including escorts of cash and other valuables.
• Provide security for special events and VIP services.
• Deliver exceptional customer service when assisting guests, patrons and employees.
• Carry out all reasonable duties requested by management.

Required profile

• Able to work in the Bahamas without sponsorship.
• Commitment to the highest standards of safety and security.
