Technical Storekeeper - Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

About the role

The Technical Storekeeper handles and manages the receiving, storage and processing of incoming and outgoing spare parts and technical supplies at one or more Carnival Corporation-owned and operated destinations, including Half Moon Cay, The Bahamas. The role supports inventory management so that materials are accurately recorded, properly stored and available for technical teams, and works closely with maintenance and technical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Keep accurate records of stock counts, requirements and reporting needs, and issue a weekly inventory list of technical spares
• Update system records on arrival of new parts and tools, label and maintain tools, equipment and spare parts, and audit incoming materials against paperwork and invoices
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock, track spare part usage for maintenance planning and budgeting
• Place requests for parts, liaise with staff, management and vendors, coordinate with procurement teams and review vendor quotes
• Maintain an organized store, assist with unloading, sorting and receiving, implement storage systems and follow safety protocols for heavy or hazardous materials
• Create inventory, usage and discrepancy reports, document damaged or defective parts, uphold environmental policies and support audits and inspections

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; equivalent experience required; hospitality or related education is a plus
• At least two years of relevant work experience in a technical role
• Current health certificate
• Proficiency in English and excellent written and verbal communication
• Physically fit, able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and at least 50 pounds, work outdoors and stand for long periods
• Full range of motion and senses to take part in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills
• May be asked to work a shift schedule at any destination
