Warehouse Attendant - Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

About the role

A Warehouse Attendant ensures the smooth operation of warehouse activities at one or more Carnival Corporation destinations, such as Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas. The role manages the flow of materials, maintains order in the workspace, receives and handles goods, prepares items for distribution and helps keep inventory records accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels regularly, conduct stock takes and cycle counts, and audit incoming materials against purchase orders
• Prepare and update inventory reports
• Assist with unloading containers, sorting items and receiving deliveries
• Stock shelves and storage areas safely and logically, and keep the warehouse clean, orderly and safe
• Support purchasing by identifying supply needs and working with internal staff, management and vendors
• Follow environmental, safety and company policies, and perform other duties assigned by management

Required profile

• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in inventory management or a related field, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Experience in a hospitality or resort environment is highly desirable
• Ability to speak and write English clearly, and to follow and give written and verbal instructions
• Physically fit, able to lift at least 10 pounds, work outdoors and stand for long periods; shift schedules may be required
