Business Travel & Catering Sales Manager

About the role

Join the Sales & Marketing team at SLS Baha Mar to lead business travel, corporate, and catering sales for a luxury resort in the Bahamas. You will be responsible for driving revenue across guestrooms, meetings, weddings, and other hotel experiences while building lasting relationships with corporate and wedding clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow local corporate accounts, new business prospects, and destination wedding opportunities.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with corporate decision‑makers, travel managers, meeting planners, wedding planners, luxury travel advisors and industry partners.
• Generate revenue across guestrooms, meetings, catering, corporate events, weddings and celebrations.
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal, negotiation, contracting, turnover and account management.
• Partner with Revenue Management to align business development with pricing strategy and inventory availability.
• Deliver compelling virtual and in‑person property tours, presentations and proposals to drive conversion.
• Maintain a robust pipeline, track market trends and competitive intelligence, and ensure accurate documentation in sales systems.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Revenue Management, Catering, F&B, Reservations, Front Office, Concierge, Finance, Marketing) to deliver commercially sound solutions and exceptional client experiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality sales, corporate travel or event catering sales.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with corporate and wedding clients.
• Ability to manage the complete sales cycle and meet revenue targets.
• Analytical mindset to monitor market trends and identify new revenue opportunities.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
