Senior Technology Risk Assurance – Financial Services

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior professional to join its Financial Services Office Technology Risk team. The role focuses on delivering IT assurance services to a diverse portfolio of clients across asset management, private equity, banking, capital markets and insurance within the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT assurance engagements, including external audit support, internal audit, regulatory reviews and data‑privacy assessments.
• Develop work‑program timelines, risk assessments, budgets and other planning documentation.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring high‑quality delivery within agreed time and cost constraints.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
• Collaborate with consulting and assurance colleagues to address emerging technology risks, operational resilience and automation controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technology risk and IT assurance within the financial services sector.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex, multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a focus on quality and client service.
• Willingness to work across audit and consulting domains and adapt to a dynamic team environment.
