Technology Risk Staff – Financial Services Assurance

About the role

EY’s Financial Services Office is seeking an experienced staff member for its Technology Risk team within the Assurance practice. The role will support a variety of IT assurance projects for clients across the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands, helping them manage business, financial reporting and technology risks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT assurance engagements, including external audit support, internal audit, regulatory reviews and emerging technology risk assessments.
• Develop work‑program timelines, risk assessments, budgets and other planning documentation.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with internal teams and external clients, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
• Coach and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Deliver engagements on time and within agreed cost budgets while meeting EY’s quality standards.

Required profile

• Qualified professional with several years of experience in IT assurance or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across audit and consulting domains.
