Audit Experienced Staff – Insurance (FSO)

About the role

Join EY’s Financial Services Office (FSO) Insurance team as an Audit Experienced Staff member. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands, delivering assurance services to a diverse portfolio of insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures on financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Develop and execute client‑focused audit strategies across multiple projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their reporting needs and support business development.
• Identify potential risks and propose improvements to audit processes and service offerings.
• Stay updated on business trends and emerging technologies to provide insightful advisory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related business discipline.
• Minimum nine months of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Progress towards or possession of an internationally recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., US CPA, Canadian CPA).
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
