Documentation Specialist I

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Documentation Specialist I to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) on Andros Island, Bahamas. The role involves handling customs and cargo documentation for US Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare air and marine cargo declarations and related documents.
• Use Trade Tech and Click2Clear software for manifesting and linking to US and Bahamas customs systems.
• Process delivery receipts and track status using MAXIMO.
• Perform periodic physical inventory counts for supply and departmental warehouses.
• Operate government cargo vehicles and assist with classified material courier duties.
• Support warehouse and aircraft operations, including US mail handling.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of office experience.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lb.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a US Secret clearance (US citizenship required).
• Willingness to reside in a remote location with limited medical facilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with Trade Tech, Automated Manifest System (AMS), Click2Clear, and MAXIMO software.
