Bartender / Cashier – Luxury Resort Bar

About the role

The Bartender/Cashier will manage the bar area, prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, handle guest transactions and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests at the Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort in the Bahamas.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare drinks according to standardized resort recipes and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Process payments and manage POS transactions with precision.
• Maintain bar stock levels, order supplies, and keep the bar fully stocked at all times.
• Keep all glassware, utensils and tools clean, sterilized and properly stored.
• Greet guests warmly, use their names, and provide menu recommendations and information on specials.
• Complete consumption reports and submit them to the manager.
• Perform side work, including cleaning ashtrays and ensuring the bar area is organized at shift end.
• Adhere to all food and beverage service standards, including timely service and courteous guest interactions.
