Housekeeper II – Guest Services on Andros Island

About the role

Amentum is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper II to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission on Andros Island, Bahamas. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and providing friendly service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in all guest areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and restroom stocking.
• Act as junior trainer for other housekeepers and ensure departmental standards are followed.
• Maintain inventory of linens and supplies, and keep linen rooms stocked.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for items such as extra towels and assist guests as needed.
• Report necessary repairs, collect and dispose of trash, and clean upholstered furniture.

Required profile

• Must be a citizen of the Bahamas (position reserved for Bahamian citizens only).
• 10+ years of relevant housekeeping experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply instructions, publications, and safety rules.
• Basic writing skills.
