Senior Audit Professional – Insurance (FSO Assurance)

About the role

EY’s Financial Services Office (FSO) is seeking a Senior Audit professional to join its Insurance team. You will work with multidisciplinary, global teams to deliver assurance services for clients across the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands, helping them meet reporting requirements and gain valuable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex, industry‑specific audit procedures and develop client‑focused audit strategies.
• Coach, manage and mentor a team of audit professionals, ensuring they have the tools and opportunities to grow.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to tailor assurance services and support new business development.
• Identify potential risks, propose improvements to audit processes, and contribute to revenue growth.
• Stay updated on business trends and emerging technologies to act as a trusted advisor.

• Proven experience in audit, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and client‑engagement skills.
• Ability to think analytically and provide strategic insights.
