Currency Services Representative (Part-Time Contract)

About the role

RBC is hiring a Currency Services Representative on a one-year part-time contract in Nassau, Bahamas. The role covers processing basic to moderately complex client transactions across one or more RBC product lines, using online input to banking systems while keeping the quality and accuracy of incoming and outgoing documents and workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Process client transactions accurately and consistently, meeting established service level agreements
• Check documents and data for completeness and accuracy, and refer issues to the Team Lead
• Identify recurring errors and servicing gaps and report them to the Team Lead
• Own client concerns at first point of contact, escalating to the manager when needed
• Follow delegated authorities, systems access, the Global Information Risk Management framework, compliance policies and operational risk procedures
• Balance client experience, efficiency and effectiveness with operational risk

Required profile

• Bank's minimum entry requirements: 5 Ordinary Level subjects including English and Mathematics
• Good knowledge of the bank's policies, products and services, and of circulars and folios on money laundering, privacy and item negotiation
• Good cash management skills and a strong commitment to quality service
• Respects confidentiality and is flexible and adaptable; able to handle demanding situations under tight deadlines

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of related applications and tools, with willingness to learn others
• Communication, critical thinking, customer service, time management and process improvement
