Spanish Teacher

About the role

Inspired Education is recruiting a Spanish teacher for King's College School, The Bahamas, a premium private school founded by the Inspired group and part of a global network of 125 schools. The school opened in August 2022, grew to over 330 students from Pre-Reception to Year 10 for the 2026/27 academic year, and plans to add another year group each year until Year 13. The new campus includes classrooms, science labs, sports facilities and a boarding house, and the school is looking for a Spanish teacher with outstanding experience from top schools worldwide, starting in September 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the school's curriculum, policies and external assessment requirements.
• Assess students' in-class and at-home learning regularly and give targeted feedback to drive progress.
• Create a classroom and school environment where students feel valued, supported and ready to take risks.
• Work with colleagues to share best practice and develop professionally.
• Take part in co-curricular activities, such as leading clubs and whole-school initiatives.
• Maintain open, constructive communication with parents to build strong partnerships.

Required profile

• PGCE, QTS or equivalent, with excellent academic credentials and, ideally, evidence of post-graduate study.
• Proven track record of excellence in personal, academic and professional achievements.
• Passion for education and for the subject, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Experience in pastoral care and promoting student wellbeing.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, able to plan a varied workload and work under pressure.
