Senior Manager – Real Estate Tax (FSO)

About the role

Join EY's Financial Services Office (FSO) as a Senior Manager in the Real Estate Tax practice. You will lead US tax compliance and advisory work for real‑estate and private‑equity funds, delivering high‑quality tax solutions that align with client business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage US tax compliance accounts for real‑estate and private‑equity funds, including preparation and review of Form 1065, Form 1120, Form 1120‑REIT, and associated Schedule K‑1/K‑3 packages.
• Analyze investment portfolios and financial data to determine appropriate tax adjustments.
• Review partnership agreements and private placement memorandums for US tax implications such as book‑tax allocations, management fees, and incentive fees.
• Provide on‑call tax advice and develop tax strategies for clients.
• Oversee day‑to‑day engagement activities and coordinate with clients and EY internal teams across multiple locations.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with strong technical knowledge in real‑estate tax.
• Proven ability to analyze financial statements and complex investment structures.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
