Assistant Director of Food & Beverage (Daylife & Nightlife)

About the role

The Assistant Director of Food & Beverage (Daylife & Nightlife) will oversee the day‑life and night‑life venues at SLS Baha Mar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence across all service areas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement competitive promotional plans to drive business and sales.
• Maintain sales and promotion requirements in line with brand standards.
• Ensure operational systems and procedures are effective, efficient and consistently applied.
• Oversee day‑to‑day venue operations, delivering outstanding customer service.
• Manage financial and statutory obligations, including budgeting, P&L control and expenditure.
• Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage on strategic operational planning.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Security, Entertainment, VIP Services and Promotions teams for seamless event execution.
• Communicate clear direction to venue teams and maintain high standards of health, safety, food hygiene, maintenance, emergency procedures and liquor licensing compliance.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in hospitality or food‑and‑beverage management.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to remain calm, decisive and solution‑focused during high‑pressure situations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross‑functional departments.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to hospitality venues.
• Understanding of food hygiene standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with liquor licensing requirements.
• Experience managing budgets, P&L statements and controlling departmental expenditures.
