Director of Reservations – Luxury Caribbean Resort

About the role

The luxury five‑star resort in the Caribbean is seeking an experienced Director of Reservations to shape the guest journey from the first inquiry through arrival. This senior position works closely with Revenue Management, Sales and Operations to maximise revenue and deliver exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Reservations department and define the overall distribution strategy.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales to identify and capture revenue opportunities.
• Manage, coach and develop a high‑performing reservations team.
• Oversee reservation processes, guest communications and operational efficiency.
• Partner with other departments to enhance the complete guest experience.

Required profile

• Current role as Director of Reservations, Assistant Director, Reservations Manager, Revenue Manager or Front Office Manager in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Minimum eight years of experience in luxury hospitality.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of revenue management.
• Experience working in multicultural teams.
• Previous experience in Caribbean luxury hotels or resorts is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Opera Cloud.
• Familiarity with Duetto.
• Experience with TravelClick.
