Director of Reservations – Luxury Caribbean Resort

About the role

The luxury five‑star resort in the Caribbean is seeking a commercially minded Director of Reservations to shape the guest experience from the first point of contact. You will lead the reservations strategy, working closely with revenue management, sales and operations to maximise performance and deliver exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Reservations department and define the overall distribution strategy.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales to capture revenue opportunities.
• Manage, coach and develop a high‑performing reservations team.
• Oversee reservation processes, guest communications and operational efficiency.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to enhance the complete guest journey.

Required profile

• Current or recent experience as Director of Reservations, Assistant Director, Reservations Manager, Revenue Manager or Front Office Manager in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Minimum eight years in luxury hospitality with strong commercial awareness.
• Proven ability to work within multicultural teams.
• Experience in Caribbean luxury resorts is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Opera Cloud.
• Familiarity with Duetto.
• Experience with TravelClick.
