Commercial and Operational Management

About the role

The Commercial and Operational Manager will drive business expansion, oversee store performance, and ensure profitable, sustainable operations across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute business expansion and new business development strategies.
• Oversee store sales, profitability, inventory control and implement annual strategic plans and budgets.
• Coordinate promotions, discounts and advertising campaigns with Marketing and Purchasing, evaluating profitability.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, prevent over‑stocking and stock‑outs, and manage product replenishment with Logistics.
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate store teams, leading performance‑based incentive programs.
• Develop customer service and visual merchandising standards to enhance satisfaction and brand consistency.
• Conduct feasibility studies and manage permits, licenses and operational requirements for new store openings.
• Monitor operating expenses, cash handling, and prepare financial reports for senior management.
• Expand wholesale customer portfolio and identify local business opportunities for growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail or multi‑store management with a focus on sales, profit margins and inventory control.
• Strong analytical skills to review P&L statements, identify variances and drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to lead, develop high‑performing teams and manage HR processes including recruitment and performance evaluation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with Marketing, Purchasing, Logistics and senior leadership.
