Salesperson - Life and Health Insurance

About the role

Colina Insurance Limited, a diversified financial services company offering life and health insurance, mortgage lending and investment solutions, is hiring a full-time hybrid Salesperson based in Nassau. The role combines in-office and work-from-home arrangements and focuses on identifying and engaging prospective clients, presenting life and health insurance and related financial products, and guiding them through a needs analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients and present life and health insurance and related financial products
• Manage a sales pipeline and conduct meetings and presentations
• Follow up on leads and maintain accurate records in CRM and internal systems
• Collaborate with underwriting and customer service teams to support policy issuance and ongoing client service
• Meet sales targets and adhere to regulatory and company standards

Required profile

• Strong sales and client relationship skills, including prospecting, consultative selling and closing
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain complex financial concepts clearly
• Basic financial literacy and interest in life and health insurance, mortgage lending and investment products
• Solid organisational and time management skills for handling multiple leads, follow-ups and documentation
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, with self-motivation and accountability
• Previous experience in financial services or insurance sales is an asset
• Relevant professional licensing or willingness to obtain required insurance licenses; secondary school completion required, tertiary education in business, finance or a related field is an advantage
